Images & Copyright
Last updated
Home decor is a visual subject, so we're careful about where our pictures come from.
Where our images come from
- AI-generated scenes. Most room and vignette images are created with AI image tools from prompts written by our team, then chosen and edited by a person. They're illustrations, labeled as AI where relevant. See our AI policy.
- Retailer product images. In product grids, images may come through affiliate programs (Amazon's product image tools, for example) or from the brand, used under those programs' terms.
- Licensed stock. Now and then we use photos licensed from stock libraries, within the terms of the license.
- Our own graphics. Pin designs, diagrams and printable mockups are made by our team. If a real photo is ours, it's marked as ours.
- Reader photos, only with written permission and credited the way the reader asks.
We don't download and republish images from Instagram, Pinterest or other blogs. If we ever feature someone else's photo, it will be with their permission or through an official embed, with credit.
Using our images
You're welcome to save images from Linen & Lamp to Pinterest with the Save button, which keeps the link to the original post. For anything else, such as reposting on social media, using an image on your blog or in a product listing, please ask first. Our printables are for personal use and can't be resold or shared as files.

Formal DMCA notices
Linen & Lamp complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). A formal takedown notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them

- the specific material on our site you believe infringes, with enough detail for us to find it, such as the URL
- your contact information: mailing address, phone number and email
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right
Send notices to [email protected] or to Linen & Lamp, mailing address available on request by email. We review valid notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the material in question.
If we removed your content by mistake
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was an error, you can send a counter-notice with: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and phone number, with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Where appropriate, we end access for people who repeatedly infringe.
